Simply put.... I don't have a lot of
friends... call me a picky perfectionist, but it's the truth. Actually, call me
paranoid... Of all my friends, you'll notice that there isn't a single one whom I haven't
known for over at least 2 and a half years (sans my online friends). And, before I begin... there's a public apology due to all of my online Yahoo! friends: I'm sorry I left and I'm sorry I won't be returning. There are just too many egotistical, "me me me" types in there who think it's fun to trash other people about their problems. I hate to be the first to tell em that their shxt does stink, worse than everyone elses, and I was tired of wading through it. So... I'm sorry you won't see me around there anymore. (See the My 2 Cents page... there's a good rant by me about online B.S.) Jim Polick, Jr. Jim and I have been friends ever since the 7th grade, and it's real funny to think about too, because we became friends over the brief, fleeting discussion of the latest issue of Nintendo Power on the first day of school. Jim has been, and probably always will be, one of my best friends, no matter where life takes me or him, and the only time when we are NOT friends is when the Yankees (my team) play the Braves or the Orioles (Jim's teams)... Overall, he's a great friend, and we have a lot in common, which is rather scary, because that means that there are two people with the same mindset in the same small city in the same small world... AHHHHHHHHHHH! There are a few pictures of Jim in the photo gallery. Dave Yeager Dave and I have been friends since the 12th grade, where we shared Government class. Ironically, the three best people in that class were Jim, Dave and myself, and also ironically, we all sat in the back of the classroom where we could talk. (Or in Jim & Dave's case... they stopped talking and started doing Math homework..) Dave and I, well... we're on the same mindset all the time. Almost everyday, or at least every day that he stops by to visit, we'll both say the same thing at the same time without planning it. It just works that way... which means... AHHHHHH.. there are three of us with similiar minds in the small city in the small world... isn't that one of the signs of Apcolypse? Dave, like Jim, will always be one of my best friends... mainly because of how well we get along and how much we think alike... it's really freaky sometimes... There is one REALLY bad picture of Dave on the photo gallery, and the worst part is, the other pictures I have of him that are available to scan are pictures me and Jim and Dave all took while we were totally plastered. Hmph... maybe I should scan them and post them anyway... Mike Makepeace Mike and I have a history... rather.. a lot of history. He was my 7th grade History teacher at Hines Middle School, and I have been friends with him ever since. Despite his deep rooted hate of IBM Compatible Personal Computers, and his relentless love for Macintosh (*snicker: which by the way, I forgive him for*), he has been a good friend to me, and hopefully will always be. He has always helped me with problems on a personal level, and beyond that, he's just great to be around and fun to down a couple of beers with. Speaking of beers, if you ever want to find a beer that you've NEVER seen on the market, ask Mike. I'm sure he'd find it and then drink it and tell you what he thought of it and where he found it. Every time I go to visit, he always has a different beer to try. More often than not, we talk about cars and motorcycles and his trips to where ever during his summer breaks. Hopefully his summer this year won't be overshadowed by his whirlwind Asian and American tour he had last summer! There are two pictures of Mike in the photo gallery. Online Friends As far as online friends go, I had very few out of the many who would chat whom I would actually call friends and discuss even one iota of my private life with. If you ever happen to go to Yahoo! Chat and if you see one of these people, make sure you tell them that CSA_Warnie said hi... Amazon_Redhead; CiberVago11; __suntan__; NinjaDeep; GorgeousGlobes; Lowski_99; sweet_N_intoxicating; delacroix75; Grimmm_Reaper; Cansuckagolfballthruagardenhose. Please, do note however, that I have more friends than just the ones whom I went into detail about here. Ian Edwards and Sam Goode are good friends of mine, as is Kyle Smead and Eric Williams. But, I know Jim, Dave and Mike well enough to know that they wouldn't object to my putting information about them up on my web page. |
